Meet Emil, our fearless founder with a passion for the good things in life. With a rich background within sales management & hospitality, he brings more than just strategic thinking to the table — he brings an unmatched ability to create genuine connections and unforgettable experiences. Whether he's brewing fresh coffee, golfing or uncorking the next big idea, Emil’s leadership blends innovation, warmth and a dash of fun.
At Obsidione, Emil is working with sales management and business development, ensuring happy clients, employees and a software stack going forward at all times.
I started Obsidione in 2022 after spending the last eight years in sales and realizing how much time was wasted on prospecting, rather than focusing on closing deals. Working with different sales processes, and always putting people first, I learned what works (and what doesn’t) when it comes to lead generation. I believe in going the extra mile, offering untraditional responses, and genuinely caring about the people I work with. My hospitality background and natural inclination to provide real, honest advice have shaped my approach —helping others find smarter ways to connect with their customers, without all the unnecessary hassle.

I started working towards a bachelor’s degree in economics at BI Norwegian Business School, but I decided to pause it to focus more on gaining real-world experience and using my leadership skills in practice. Before studying, I already had some experience in business and technology, but my time at BI helped me strengthen that knowledge and build a strong network. It gave me a deeper understanding of business operations, which has really helped me so far. Even though I took a break from studying, I’ve always been someone who loves learning and improving my skills every single day — whether it’s through new courses, certifications or real-life experiences. Learning is an ongoing process and I’m always looking for ways to grow and stay up to date.
I love exploring new technology, especially the growing field of AI and all the exciting opportunities it offers. It’s such a fascinating area to dive into, though I’m aware it can also be used in ways that aren’t so great. My trusty MacBook Pro goes with me everywhere —whether I’m working from home, at a coffee shop, or constantly on the move (which I do a lot). A good coffee keeps me fueled throughout the day, and I truly value that little moment of pause.
I’ve got Swedish roots, and I’ve grown up loving a good fika — you know, that special time to slow down, enjoy a cup of coffee, and chat with friends or colleagues. It’s something I carry with me wherever I go. At the end of the day, I enjoy winding down with a nice glass of wine, whether it’s from the crisp vineyards of Bordeaux, the bold reds from California, or something more unique like a rich Malbec from Argentina. I believe in blending tech with everyday life, finding simple ways to make things better, while keeping things light.
Few people know that I am a huge fan of Mario Kart. I’ve previously spent countless hours perfecting my racing skills and taking on friends in fierce, but friendly, competitions. Whether it’s snaking around corners or throwing banana peels at my opponents, it’s one of those games that never gets old. Along with my love for exploring new technology and the good things in life, I enjoy blending that fun, playful side into everyday life - shaking it up, keeping it casual. Cause life is way too corporate-ish anyways.
